Blogger Inspired...

Have you seen Kimberly's blog Eat Sleep Wear? I just discovered it a couple weeks ago and am now a follower. She is so adorable and makes glasses look really really chic. I loved one of her Fashion Week looks so much I had to put pencil to paper!

There are so many personal style blogs out there, it's sometimes hard invest in any particular one. But how inspiring to see someone who stays true to her own aesthetic! While I'm still working on my 'perfect' wardrobe, reading blogs like these makes me want to care more about what I put on in the morning =)

I hope you have a happy week!

  1. Uh! I saw this girl's pic in The Photodiarist blog (her photography is amazing, this is the photo I'm talking about:http://photodiarist.typepad.com/thephotodiaristcolor/2011/09/the-beauty-of-the-details-pt-2.html )

I really loved her style back then and I love it now that you drew it in a very beautiful way!!

I have to say I don't follow many personal style blogs because they don't inspire me much and tend to be boring after a while... I mean, if I have to see a beautiful girl dressed in a fancy way I prefer to look in my monthly issue of Elle... I prefer much more street-style blogs (especially the "detail" ones like streetFSN or Jak&Jil and the less famous ones) to see how the style is in the streets. But of course my favorites are illustration blogs ;-)

    many kisses!

  4. @ Al - I'm still baffled with how personal style bloggers manage to make a living, but more power to them for carving out a career where there wasn't one before! Thanks for sharing the link, I always love reading your comments =)

@ Katy - Thanks for stopping by! Just left a comment on your beautiful new illustration!

@ Flara - Thank you so much! I've been trying to work more on faces because I find them intimidating and frustrating to capture likeness, but I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. Practice practice practice =)

@ Katie - Thanks for your comment, I do love her outfits!
